What Grinds Your Gears as a Physical Therapist?

by Amanda Mamalio, PTRP

It’s Time to be Heard

What would you say at the chance to be heard?

What would you say at the chance to be heard?

We’re all in the same banana.

Students, interns, graduates and professionals.

You’re not the first in your dilemma and nor will you ever be the last.

You’ve done what you could, perhaps with training and advice -with whatever life experience you have garnered.

But sometimes it’s not enough.

The good news is, you’re not alone. Other PTs are experiencing it too.

The bad news is, no one knows how to handle it -professionally, effectively as a PT.

I will admit I was surprised my post on Patient Sexual Harassment had a whopping 400 more views than my post in Efficient Shoulder Examination.

There are two possible explanations for this:

1.) A lot of us have encountered a perverted patient or

2.) The sensitive topics are the ones we need to talk about the most.

I’m going to bet my appendix on number 2.

Your Voice is the Physical Therapy’s Voice

We've all been there.

We’ve all been there.

I want to help you.

Why?

Because it’s the only way we can help the rest of us.

The problems we faced as PTs needs to be called forth into the light.

But that wouldn’t happen unless you speak up.

Please take the time to answer this 2-minute survey.

We’re all in this together.

Want something as awesome as this in your website? Let me help you.
